In this article, we’ll walk you through how to set up a bookable experience with fixed events step by step.
✅ 1. Requirements for Direct Registration
To allow guests to register directly online for an experience, two key conditions must be met:
a) Add event dates
Your experience needs at least one future event date. You can either:

Manually enter individual dates

Or define a recurrence rule (e.g. every Monday at 10:00 AM)

b) Mark the experience as bookable
In order for guests to sign up, the experience must be activated as bookable in the CMS under Step 3.

⚙️ 2. Activate & Configure Direct Booking
To activate the direct registration:

Open the desired experience in the Giggle CMS

Scroll to Step 3: Is the experience bookable?

Toggle the switch to Yes
-
Enter:

At least one email address to receive bookings
-
At least one ticket with a name

⚙️ 3. Enable & Adjust Optional Settings
⏰ Registration Deadline
Set how far in advance guests must register – e.g. 24 hours before the event.
💡 This ensures planning security for you and your team.
You’ll find this setting directly below the recipient field.
Open the “Optional Settings” section below the ticket area to access additional configuration options such as:
👥 Minimum & Maximum Participants

Set a minimum number required for the event to take place

Define a maximum number of participants or available tickets

🚪 Booking Window (Registration Possible From)
Want guests to book only from a certain date onward (e.g. 7 days before the event)?
Enable a booking window to avoid too-early registrations.
📩 Signup List for External Receiver
Enter email addresses (e.g. from guides, spa, or reception) to automatically receive the participant list once the registration deadline is reached.
📌 Pro tip: Also include your own email for double confirmation.

💾 4. Save & Publish the Experience
Once all settings are in place:
➡️ Click “Save” at the top right of the page.
Your experience is now bookable – complete with fixed dates, registration limits, and automated communication.
