Adding Events & Dates to Experiences

With GiggleTips, you can easily add new events and dates to your experiences – either directly from the experience list or from within the experience itself.

1. 🛠️ Adding a Date – Two Ways

a) From the Experience List (Overview)

  1. Go to your experience list.

  2. In the second column “Events/Availability,” click the underlined text that says “0 Events” or “[X] Events planned”.

  3. A pop-up will open where you can add your new event.

b) From Within the Experience

  1. Open the experience you want to edit.

  2. Scroll to Step 2: “When does the experience take place?”

  3. Switch to the “Events” tab (next to “Availability”).

  4. Click on “Add event”.

2. ⚙️ Event Settings in Detail

✅ Entire Day Event

  • Enable the “Entire day” switch

  • Only a date is needed – no time

  • Perfect for full-day activities, markets, exhibitions, etc.

⏰ Start & End Time

  • Enter start date & time and end date & time

  • Same day → Single-day event (e.g. Sun, April 20, 2025, 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

  • Different days → Multi-day event (e.g. Sun, April 20, 2025, 10:00 AM to Sun, April 27, 2025, 2:00 PM)

🔄 Open End

  • Activate the “Open end” switch if only the start time is known

  • Ideal for experiences with no fixed end (e.g. hikes or excursions with flexible return times)

3. 🔁 Setting Up Recurring Events

If your experience takes place regularly, you can set it up as a recurring event:

  1. Click on “Does not repeat”

  2. Choose between:

    • Daily: e.g. every day, every 2 days, etc.

    • Weekly: e.g. every week, every 2/3/4 weeks

  3. Select the weekdays the event should occur (Mon–Sun)

  4. Define an end date for the recurrence (e.g. “until 30.09.2025”)

💡 Tip: Use recurring events to save time for regular formats such as:

  • Weekly yoga sessions

  • Daily kids’ programs

  • Monthly culinary evenings

4. 💾 Saving, Viewing & Deleting Events

  • Click “Create event” once all the details are filled in

  • The new event will appear:

    • In the experience overview under “Planned events”

    • Or in the “Scheduled” tab within the experience

  • Click “Done”, then save the full experience to apply all changes.

🗑️ Deleting Events

You can delete individual events or all planned events anytime using the trash icon – directly in the “Scheduled” tab or from the pop-up in the experience list.
