Do I receive an automatic confirmation by mail when the guest has sent a request/booking?

In this article we explain when you and the guest will receive an automatic email and for which cases you can disable this feature

  1. Automatic emails
  2. E-mail notifications when the minimum number of participants is set
  3. Manually triggered email notifications for individual experience requests (confirmation, cancellation, individual message).

Automatic emails

As soon as a guest has requested or booked an experience, the guest automatically receives an information/confirmation about it by mail.

In addition, the request/booking is automatically sent to the email address that is stored in the CMS for the respective experience. Several e-mail addresses can also be listed here.

Thus, the request/booking is always sent directly to the responsible department/person. This means that you can also store the e-mail address of a regional third-party provider here. (Attention: External partners should be informed about this in advance so that they recognize possible requests/bookings as such).

E-mail notifications when the minimum number of participants is set

If you have set a minimum number of participants in the experience under "More settings", there are three different options for automatic notifications by mail:

Min-Max participants

  1. The guest receives directly an automatic confirmation via our system for his booking. If the minimum number of participants has not been reached after the registration deadline and the experience cannot take place, simply contact the guest directly via our system by canceling the booking and adding an individual message.
  2. The guest will automatically receive a preliminary confirmation with the info "response pending". You can then confirm or cancel the booking(s) directly via our system.

    2. Per event you can confirm or cancel all bookings with one click:Confirm or cancel all
  3. We will automatically cancel the booking after the registration deadline if the minimum number of participants has not been reached.

Manually triggered email notifications for individual experience requests (confirmation, cancellation, individual message).

Experiences that are organized individually for the guest and therefore have no fixed dates are called "services" by us. After submitting the form, the guest will receive an automatic email with the info that his request has been sent.

Each request/booking can be confirmed (point 2) or cancelled (point 3). It is also possible to send an "Individual message to the guest:
