How to Hide Streams

In this article, you'll learn how to control which experience streams are visible

🔍 Visibility of Streams

There are two separate settings to control the visibility of streams:

In both cases, you proactively decide which streams you want to display — and, by doing so, you also automatically determine which streams will not be shown, meaning they will remain invisible in the Web App and/or on your website or tools.

📱 Controlling Stream Visibility in the WebApp

The WebApp (also referred to as the “ExperienceApp”) only shows the streams you’ve explicitly selected.

👉 Here’s how:

  1. Go to the CMS

  2. Open “Share Experiences” > “Show Experiences On-Site”

  3. Here you can:

    • choose which streams to display

    • set the order of the streams

    • define the display size (e.g. 1, 2, or 3 columns)

❌ Any stream not added here will automatically be hidden from the WebApp.

💻 Controlling Streams in the Website Widget

On your website, only the streams you include via the widget code will be shown.

👉 How it works:

  • In the streams= code parameter, you define which stream IDs should be displayed and in what order they should appear.

  • Streams not listed in the code will not appear
→ This means they are invisible by default

📌 Example:

streams=ID1,ID2,ID3

Only the three streams listed (ID1, ID2, ID3) in this exact order will be shown on your site.

📌 Summary

  • ✅ You can no longer toggle stream visibility with a switch

  • ✅ Instead, you control it:

    • in the WebApp, via settings in the CMS

    • on your website or in the correspondence tools, via the widget code

  • ✅ Anything not actively added stays hidden
