Display or Hide Ticket Prices on Experience Tiles

How to control whether the price of an experience appears in the tile view (widget or ExperienceApp)

Do you want the price of an experience to be clearly visible on the tile – or, on the contrary, ensure that no price is displayed externally? This article shows you how to manage that via the ticket settings.

  1. When is a price shown on the tile?
  2. How to remove the price from the tile

✅ When is a price shown on the tile?

A price is automatically shown on the experience tile (in both the app and widget stream) if:

  • A ticket price is set within the experience,

  • Regardless of whether the experience is bookable or not (the “Bookable” switch does not affect this).

Important to know:
Even if an experience is not actively bookable, the price will still appear on the tile as long as a ticket price is saved.

🛠 How to remove the price from the tile

If you want to hide the price from the tile display, please follow these steps:

  1. Set the experience to "Bookable"
Open the experience and toggle the switch for “Is the experience bookable?” to Yes.
  2. Remove or adjust the ticket price
Go to the Tickets section. The top-most ticket determines the price shown on the experience tile in both your ExperienceApp and widget stream.
Delete or adjust the price as needed.
💡 Tip: You can change the order of your tickets easily via drag & drop.
  3. Save the experience
  4. (Optional) Deactivate booking again
If the experience should not remain bookable, toggle the switch back to No and save again.

🚨 Note: This final save (after disabling the booking option) is essential to update the tile view. Only then will the change take effect visually.

📝 Example

You’ve created an experience like “Herbal Hike” and added a ticket price of €15 – but you don’t want to make it bookable at the moment.

To hide the price on the tile:

  1. Temporarily mark the experience as bookable,

  2. Remove or update the ticket price,

  3. Save the experience,

  4. Then switch booking back to “No” and save again.

💡 Summary

  • The tile price display is tied to the presence of a ticket price – not the booking status.

  • To remove or update the tile price, the experience must be saved once with booking enabled and then (optionally) saved again with booking disabled.

  • This gives you full control over how pricing is shown, even for purely informative experiences.
