Why Is My Experience Not Showing on Google?

How to Fix Display Issues with the Google Integration in the Giggle CMS

You want your experiences to automatically appear on your Google Business Profile via Giggle? If the connection isn’t working or the experience isn’t visible, please check the following points:


✅ 1. Is the Google Integration Activated?

Go to Share Experiences > Google Places in the CMS and make sure:

  • You are connected to the correct Google account

  • After connecting: refresh the page to ensure the connection is properly established

👉 You’ll recognize a successful connection when the status under Google Places turns green.

✅ 2. Does Your Experience Have Future Dates or Availabilities?

Only experiences with time-based availability will be transferred to Google:

  • Future event dates
    or

  • Availabilities (e.g. “Mon–Sun all day”)

⛔ Experiences without any future date or defined availability will not be synced to Google.


✅ 3. Google May Need Time to Display the Experience

You’ll know your experience was successfully sent to Google if:

  • The Google Places icon in your experience list appears colored (not grey)

  • The Google Places switch in the experience settings remains active after saving

Even if the icon shows as active in the CMS, it may take a few minutes for the experience to appear in your Google Business Profile.

📌 Tip: Be patient – listings often take a short while to become visible.

To check manually:

👉 In the experience list, click the colored Google Places icon
👉 Select “View on Google Places”
→ This will take you directly to your live Google listing – and also confirms if you're connected to the correct account.


✅ 4. Follow Google’s Content Guidelines

Google may reject content for the following reasons:

  • Images showing too much bare skin

  • Phone numbers or pricing information included in the description

🔧 Fix: Use neutral, high-quality images and avoid price or contact details in the text.


✅ 5. Manually Resync the Experience

Usually, changes are synced automatically. If your experience still isn’t displaying correctly:

  1. Open your experience list in the Giggle CMS

  2. Click the Google Places icon for the relevant experience

  3. Select “Remove from Google Places”

  4. Click the icon again to resubmit the experience

➡️ This forces a fresh sync, and your experience should now appear correctly on Google.
