Why Can’t I Save My Experience?

You’re trying to save your experience in the CMS, but it doesn’t work? In this article, we’ll walk you through the most common reasons – and how to fix them quickly.


✅ 1. Required Fields for Published Experiences

To save and publish an experience, the following fields must be completed in all active languages:

  • Experience title

  • Experience category (e.g. Culinary, Yoga, Hiking)

  • Experience description

  • At least one experience image (Max. 6 images, 6 MB per image)

💡 Note: These fields must be filled out for each language version you’ve activated in your account. You can switch languages via the dropdown in the top right of the experience editor.


🧾 2. Additional Requirements for Bookable or Requestable Experiences

If your experience is set to be booked or requested via Giggle, the following fields are also mandatory:

  • Recipient email address for booking or request notifications

  • At least one ticket with a clear ticket title (e.g. “Massage 50 Min”, “Dinner for Two”)

👉 Without this information, the experience cannot be saved as "bookable."

✏️ 3. Saving as a Draft

If you only want to save an experience draft, these two fields are enough:

  • Experience title

  • Experience description

👉 You can complete the setup and publish the experience later at any time.


🧹 4. Avoid Empty Paragraphs in the Short Description

A common issue preventing saving:
An empty paragraph or space has been added to the short description field (at the very bottom under Advanced Settings).

🔧 How to fix it:

  • Open the experience in the CMS

  • Scroll to Advanced Settings

  • Find the field labeled Short description for print materials

  • Make sure it is either:
    – completely empty
    – or contains meaningful text
    ❌ Do not leave just a space or blank paragraph
