Rescheduling & Editing Bookings

Would you like to update an existing booking or move it to a different event date? Here's everything you need to know about managing bookings in the Giggle CMS.

✅ Adjust the Number of Tickets or Add Guests

If a guest, for example, gets sick or wants to bring additional people, you can easily update the existing booking.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to “Requests & Bookings” in your CMS.

  2. Click on the booking row you want to edit.

  3. Adjust the number of tickets – increase or decrease as needed.

  4. Click “Done” to save your changes.

  5. A popup will appear where you can optionally add a custom message for the guest.

This allows you to handle short-term changes quickly and easily – no need to cancel the entire booking.


❌ Rescheduling to a New Date

Changing the date of an existing booking is not possible directly. Here's the recommended workaround:

How to reschedule a guest to a new event:

  1. Cancel the current booking:

    • Open the booking.

    • Use the status dropdown to select "Cancel Booking."

    • A popup will appear:

      • Disable the toggle “Send update via email” so the guest doesn't receive a cancellation email.

      • (Optional): Add a message if you want to inform the guest.

  2. Create a new booking:

    • For an existing event (that already has bookings/requests), activate the Bulk Actions by checking the box next to the event and click the plus icon (+) to add a new booking for the guest.

    • Alternatively, use the “Add booking” button in the top right corner to assign the guest to a new event date.
