How to Manually Add Bookings in the CMS

You want to manually add a guest booking for one of your experiences? In your Giggle CMS, you have two simple ways to do so – depending on whether it’s a past or future event.

📍 Step 1: Go to “Requests & Bookings”

In the CMS menu, navigate to “Requests & Bookings” to view all existing bookings and requests – and to add new ones.


1. Add a booking for a future event

To add a booking for an upcoming event, follow these steps:

  1. Click the “Add booking” button in the top right corner.

  2. Select the corresponding experience.

  3. Choose the desired event date and time.

  4. Enter the guest’s booking details (name, email, number of guests, etc.).

  5. Save the booking.

✉️ Optional: After saving, you can send the guest an email with a personalized message – for example, a warm welcome or additional details.

ℹ️ This method is only available for future events.


🔁 2. Add a booking via Bulk Actions (for past & future events)

To add a booking for past or upcoming events, you can use the Bulk Actions feature – as long as at least one booking or request already exists for that specific event.

Here’s how:

  1. In the list of bookings, find the event with at least one booking or request.

  2. Click the checkbox on the left of the experience image in the booking row.

  3. The Bulk Actions bar will appear at the top.

  4. Click the plus icon (+) in the Bulk Actions bar.

  5. Enter the guest’s data and save the booking.

  6. Optional: You can also send an email with a personalized message to the guest after saving.

❗ Important:

  • This option is only available when exactly one checkbox is selected.

  • If you select multiple checkboxes, the "Add booking" option will be hidden.


💡 Tip:

Use this feature to document last-minute or retrospective bookings in your system – whether the event has already taken place or is still upcoming.
