When are external booking links useful? This function is ideal when: - The booking is handled via another system (e.g. spa software, partner portal, table reservation tool, [WhatsApp business chat](https://support.giggle.tips/en/help-center/link-a-whatsapp-chat?hsLang=en)) - You want to promote regional partner offers that don’t use Giggle 🧾 **Example:** You want to promote your partner CulinaryCraftTours’ “Gin Experience” on your Giggle page, but the booking should happen on their own site. --- ### ⚙️ 2. Create an experience with an external booking link #### 1. Prepare the booking link Ask your partner for the direct link to the booking page or event overview. #### 2. Open the experience in the CMS - Log in to your **Giggle-CMS** - Open an existing experience or create a new one #### 3. Enable booking for the experience - Scroll to **Step 3: Is this experience bookable?** - Toggle the switch to **“Yes”** #### 4. 🔗 Add the external booking link - Under the ticket settings, click **“External booking link”** - In the pop-up, activate the switch **“Enable external booking link”** - **Insert the URL of the external booking page** or even **link your [WhatsApp chat](https://support.giggle.tips/en/help-center/link-a-whatsapp-chat?hsLang=en)** - You can also customize the **button label**. By default, the button says **“Book”**, but depending on the type of experience, you can choose from different options such as: - Reserve - Pay - Download - Learn more - … and more options This allows you to perfectly match the button to the offer — for example **“Learn more”** for information pages or **“Reserve”** for table bookings. - Click **“Done”** to save the settings in the pop-up. 💡 **Note:** When using an external link, you can ignore all other booking fields (such as number of participants, custom fields, or registration deadlines). #### 5. ☎️ Optional: Enable the call function Would you like to also offer a call option? - In the same optional settings section, find "**Call reservations**" and activate the switch **“Enable call bookings”** - Enter a phone number – it will appear as a **“Call”** button next to the booking link → Ideal for guests with questions or those who prefer to book by phone 👉 Learn more here: [**Enable call bookings for experiences**](https://support.giggle.tips/en/help-center/bookable-by-phone?hsLang=en) #### 6. 💾 Save the experience Click **“Save”** to save the experience with your updated settings.
